World Day of the Sick at St. Augustine of Canterbury in Toronto, Canada
St. Augustine's youth group in Toronto, Canada found a way to participate in the World Day of the Sick, a world-wide day of prayer and charity held on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. Along with two sisters and a priest, the group of
youth and young adults visited a retirement home close to their parish, which is generally visited weekly by other members of the parish. With this visit the youth group united their prayers with the residents and also practiced one of the most beautiful works of charity of our faith. The time together was very fruitful for both the residents and the visitors and all thank God for this opportunity to share the mercy of God's love under the patronage of Our Lady of Lourdes.
