Picnic at the Juniorate   

Sunday, May 6th, 2007, the Immaculate Heart of Mary Juniorate in Washington, DC had a picnic at the convent in thanksgiving to some benefactors, friends and family members who help the sisters throughout the year.  The day was full and in honor of the Month of May, the Month of Mary, we ended with a song to Our Lady. 

The event included a BBQ along with plenty of side dishes and desert.  The kids played sports, had an Easter Egg Hunt, and finally gathered to sing to Our Lady, offering her flowers and crowning Her in the garden of the convent. 

To end the day everyone went inside to enjoy some singing by the sisters and a few special "acts" done by the kids.  We are grateful for all the support received during the year and thank God for the many graces received.
