Students of the First Year Confirmation classes at Our Lady of Peace recently had their Day of Retreat at the Dominican Sisters of the Most Holy Rosary, in Fremont, California. First the girls group, with 30 candidates, participated on Saturday, February 18th and the following Saturday, February 25th, 32 boys had their Day of Retreat. The retreats ran from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and were preached by the priests of the Incarnate Word and assisted by the Sisters. During these days of recollection the students went to Confession, participated in Mass, and heard talks on chastity and friendship. They also shared their thoughts through small group discussions and enjoyed some sports time together.
