Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross

"We worship your cross, O Lord, and we commemorate your glorious passion. You suffered for us; have mercy on us." (Liturgy of the Hours)

The Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, September 14th, 2006, is celebrated by our Institute in order to commemorate the Cross of Matará. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Brooklyn, NY. The Mass included:

• Profession of Perpetual Vows: Sr. María Di Canneto
• First Profession of Vows
• Renewal of Temporary Vows
• Reception of the Cross of Matará by the Postulants

A reception immediately followed the Mass where about 300 people attended, including friends, family and benefactors.
